During the past month, we have been updating Lytec
2006 to Service Pack 3 and have experienced a great deal of success from
the patch. As many 2006 users may know, many reports have been running
slow and in some cases, like the Insurance Aging report, barely running
at all. The service pack has improved this dramatically as well as
optimized many other features.

MediNotes e Case Studies
Cardiology
New York Heart Center
Ric Smith, Director of Operations
Ric explains his "tough love"
implementation style. Yes it is possible to get 16 cardiologists, 9
nurse practitioners and 60 staff to agree on something. And once they
agree the benefits are incredible.

Having spent money on two failed systems,
Dr. Kazilionis relied on his insight of usability and the integrity of
the company behind the product to choose Charting Plus.
Internal Medicine
Primary Care Associates
Alan Tannenbaum, M.D.

better knowing that their records are kept electronically. Dr. McCartney
and Dr. Blair feel better knowing that they have eliminated $9,000 per

seeing the last patient.
Carteret Optometry
John Scibal, O.D.
100% paperless with a combination of
MediNotes e (formerly Charting Plus) and an integrated document

Pediatric Wellness
Faith S. Myers, M.D.
Dr. Myers started her new practice with
MediNotes e (formerly Charting Plus) - electronic health records since
day one. Based on the volume of patients, she estimates that she is
saving around $25,000 per year for transcription.
Coleman Pediatric Associates, P.A.
Stephen R. Coleman, M.D.
Dr. Coleman has customized the templates
for his practice and utilizes the principle of "documentation by
exception". Not only does this allow him to create notes more quickly

information for the encounter.
Podiatry
Foot Care Associates, P.C.
John Guiliana, D.P.M.
