New Flexible Grids for Claim Generation
Medisoft 16 brings you new flexible grids for claim generation that allow you to better meet requirements for both print and electronic claim submission. The new layout provides the ability to quickly customize your claim process to meet your needs for insurance carriers, providers, your own practice and your data requirements.
Revenue Manager
With Revenue Management, Medisoft 16 gives you fully integrated electronic claims, eligibility verification and ERA processing. Revenue Manager alerts you when a claim may be rejected with a red flag so that you can edit it before it gets sent out, which greatly increases your claim acceptance rate. With Revenue Manager, you can also track your claims throughout the entire process.
Enhanced Data Flow Between Medisoft 16 and Medisoft Clinical
With Medisoft 16 comes better communication between your billing software and your Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Key updates include data fields like phone number, email address, new insurance carriers and new referring providers. Communications Manager also includes new controls for sending resources like provider, facility, procedures and diagnosis updates to Medisoft Clinical.
New Interace
With version 16, Medisoft got a face lift. The new and updated look keeps the logic and organization of the previous versions, but uses new colors, icons and window controls to make navigation easier and more pleasant. The keyboard hotkeys (like F2 for the Transaction Entry Window) are still the same, so your favorite shortcuts are intact, and you get a new, streamlined interface.
Streamlined Security for Medisoft Reports
Medisoft Reports and Medisoft Reports Professional now use the standard Medisoft security model. You do not need to create or maintain users specific to the reports feature only (Medisoft Reports user); the application uses your existing or newly created Medisoft users instead. You can now assign and limit access to the Medisoft reports engine and specific reports (Advanced and Network Professional) using the new Medisoft Reports Permissions window (click File and select Reports Permission) based on user level.
