Medisoft version 15 has numerous new and enhanced features
that improve workflow and efficiency from the first step in the patient
encounter cycle, scheduling an appointment, through the final step of
collections and beyond to file maintenance.
Medisoft has released Medisoft Clinical! Keep your Medisoft Billing Software and get Electronic Medical Records bundled with it! Medisoft Clinical comes with all these great new features of Medisoft 15, plus and EMR portion of the software. Medisoft Clinical is CCHIT certified for 2008 and can help you qualify for the EMR Stimulus pacakge.
New Reports - The number one request for the
enhancements in Medisoft was to improve reports. Well, you
asked; we listened! Medisoft now includes 300 new reports
with everything from better aging reports to new pie charts and
graphical reports. That’s already 300 reasons to upgrade your
old Medisoft!
Default Printer Option – Tired of clicking
around just to print one document? Users can now specify default printers
for many of the Medisoft Documents, including superbills,
statements, reports and claims.
Chart Number Hot-key - New Shortcut! When
moving from screen to screen, you can now recall the patient file with the
click of a button, literally! (Hint: It's Shift + F4).
Office Hours Enhancements - The appointment
entry window now shows both the home and cell phone numbers for the patient.
Office Hours Professional will now warn you about upcoming appointments for
a patient in the appointment entry window. The new Office Hours has a blank
appointment indicator! Appointment Reports include blank appointment slots.
All you have to do is select the ‘Print Blank Appointments’ box! Plus, you
no longer have to enter an appointment for walk-in patients to be able to
print a superbill. You can print as many blank superbills as you need!
New Statement Manager Features -Medisoft now has a new remainder statement, which shows you that missed co-pays have been added into the total amount due in the statement. All you have to do check off the box in the Billing Tab under Program Options. You can also now sort statements either by date of service, entry order, or by document number, making statements easier than ever to find!
