MACRA, The New Payment Reform: How To Avoid Penalties?

The MACRA QPP will help us to move more quickly toward our goal of paying for value and better care. The Quality Payment Program has 2 paths:

MIPs: Merit-Based Incentive Payment Systemmacra-mips
APMs: Alternative Payment Models
or APMs will go into effect over a timeline from 2015 through 2021 and beyond.
What’s the Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS)?
The  new program that combines parts of the Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS), the Value Modifier (VM or Value-based Payment Modifier), and the Medicare Electronic Health Record (EHR) incentive program into one single program in which Eligible Professionals (EPs) will be measured on.

Microwize will highly recomend physicains to meet the requierment we are offering compliance training for the Medisoft clients and compliance training for Lytec MD. Physicians not compliance and taking insurance will be subject to a savvier penalty that will be adding up to 9%, this money will be going to a different physicain as a bonus. You don’t want to leave money on the table, this might look overwhelming but it is not that hard. I hat to see physicians giving up and sell out to a larger group or a hospital, you will be do it any way just giving up control.
