Workstation System Requirements
- Core 2 Duo 2.66 Ghz or higher
- 4GB of available hard disk space
- 2GB of RAM (3GB for Vista Business)
- 16+ Color Display
- 32GB System Drive or Higher
- 1024x768 Video
- 1GB Network Card
- Windows XP Professional SP2
- 1500 VA+ UPS Battery
- Antivirus Solution
Windows Vista Users
Vista Home, Home Premium & Ultimate are not supported by any Lytec version at this time.
If you have Vista Home or Home Premium, consider using the 'Windows Anytime Upgrade' service which allows you to upgrade your version of Vista by downloading a file. Click here for more details.
Server System Requirements
- Equivalent to Quad Core 2.66 or higher/ Xeon 2.66Ghz or higher
- 4GB RAM
- 32GB+ System Drive
- 500GB+ Data Drive RAID controller perferred
- 1Gbps network card
- 1024x768 video
- DVD Optical Drive
- Test backup system
- 1500VA+ UPS Battery
- Must have separate operating system & data partions. Data partition must be a non-conflicted network drive and drive letter changed to P
- Domain infrastructure and regularly tested backup required
Network
Gigabit full-duplex 10/100/1000 Ethernet router/switch using CAT5e (or CAT6) Ethernet cable. Consult with a licensed network vendor for proper wiring for your business computing environment. Wireless networks are not recommended or supported.
Internet
High-speed cable, DSL or satellite internet service. Internet Explorer 7 only.
Server Syste

Server operating system (required):
- Client Server edition: Windows® 2003 or 2008 Server (Enterprise or Standard edition) with latest service packs.
- Multi-user/ Professional editions: Windows XP Professional SP2 or higher
- Windows Vista Business, 32-bit operating system only
Operating System Notes:
Lytec 2010 currently functions with the Microsoft Windows Vista Business Edition 32 Bit ONLY. Lytec will not function with Vista Ultimate, Home, Home Premium, Windows 7 or 64 Bit.

Printer Reccomendations:
HP LaserJet 1300 or higher. Microwize will not support any other printer.
Internet Browser:
Lytec 2010 currently functions with Internet Explorer 7 ONLY. Internet Explorer 8 is not compatible with Lytec.
