Ribbon Interface

Lytec 2010 features a new interface with ribbon technology. Similar to Microsoft Office 2007, ribbons streamline the user experience by organizing actions by related function. This new ribbon interface is more visually appealing, takes up less window space, and with related functions being grouped together, it's easier to navigate. Plus, it also features a customizable quick access toolbar containing frequently used commands for easy access. The ribbon also includes an Encoder Pro icon. Of course, Lytec 2010 features all of the keyboard shortcuts that have become a part of Lytec.

Increased Performance

Lytec 2010 is fast. Think of all the time you'll save with the streamlined ribbon interface, combined with these enhancements that make the product actually faster to use:

  • Client/Server version is up to 40% faster
  • Launching charges and payments is 80%faster
  • Selecting Patients in the Scheduler is twice as fast
New Flexible Grids for Claim Generation

With Lytec 2010, you gain flexibility in configuring your electronic claims setup, allowing you to more easily handle different insurance filing requirements. The new interface makes it simple to configure your claims for both print and electronic use. The key new tabs of the grid include: Practice, Provider, Referring Physician and Facility IDs. With the flexibility of all these new tabs, you will be better able to address different carrier filing requirements, and greatly increase your claim acceptance rate.

Revenue Management (formerly SendClaim)

Now included in Lytec: Revenue Management. Revenue Management combines the forces of eligibility verification, claim scrubbing with CCI and custom edits, insurance acknowledgement, ERA Claim Processing and electronic secondary claim submission all in a neat, manageable (and trackable) package.

View Billing Information in Appointment Screen

In Lytec 2010, you can view charges entered right from the appointment screen. This way, you can know, at a glance, if a patient was charged for they day or if you still need to enter a charge.

Eligibility

Lytec 2010 gives you more control and the ability to manage you payers IDs with new eligibility data. The interface allows you define when to check for updates and lets you update a Payer ID. This helps you handle eligibility verification issues and greatly reduces the potential for downtime.

DVD Install

Installation has been greatly simplified with Lytec 2010. The new DVD installation does away with the old - multiple disk installation of the past. Therefore, installation is quicker and easier. Plus, it eliminates the necessity for you to swap disks during the installation, so you are free to tend to your other tasks while the installation is running.

Appointment Window Refresh and Refresh Timer Setting

The refresh feature in Lytec 2010 allows you to view changes that other users have made to the appointment window, so that you can always get the most up to date schedule instantly. You can also set it to refresh automatically in different time intervals. Plus, two quick access buttons to view either the calendar, or the appointment detail

Windows 2008 32-bit and 64-bit support

Lytec 2010 Client Server now works with Windows 2008 Server (Standard), both 32-bit and 64-bit.

Lock Screen Security

With Lytec 2010, you can lock your screen so that no one can close, minimize, maximize or restore the program. This helps save your changes that could have potentially been lost.

Skinning

Lytec 2010 gives you skinning options to customized the look and feel of the application. You can apply custom appearances to the background, windows, title bars, buttons, labels and more! Plus, you can change the skin on the fly without even restarting the application.
